Top of the Rock

Years in the making, inspired by Mother Nature and brought into being by conservationist and Bass Pro Shop founder John Morris, Top of the Rock is the newest in the Big Cedar Lodge family of premier wedding venues. Imagine exchanging your vows in the majestic Chapel of the Ozarks at Top of the Rock. This chapel is a true fairy-tale experience right out of your own story book. Resting at the highest point in the county, this enchanting three-story chapel boasts incredible floor-to-ceiling views of Table Rock Lake. A salute to iconic American country churches, arch windows, a copper roof, and a steeple with bell tower lend an ethereal quality to every service. Antique pine wood entry doors and native limestone honors the land. The chapel opens to 23-foot vaulted ceilings and broadbay windows that perfectly frames the overlook of Table Rock Lake. The chapel, built by artisan craftsmen, accommodates up to 180 guests, with a balcony that is ideal for a string quartet or a soloist. View the photo gallery here.

Following the ceremony, your reception options include the luxurious Top of the Rock Wine Cellar Event Room. The Wine Cellar features a stunning rounded ceiling with hand-hewn beams, designed to mimic the inside of a wine barrel. A wall of windows and sliding glass doors open the room to the outdoors, revealing towering stone fire places and an infinity pool that looks as though it is flowing into Table Rock Lake. The Wine Cellar Event Room can accomodate receptions with up to 100 guests. View the photo gallery here.

The Civil War Cabin at Top of the Rock
Once a Civil War Cabin, the Cabin at Top of the Rock was repurposed by local Ozarks Amish craftsmen and now includes unique rustic amenities such as two grand porches that overlook the golf course and an outdoor shower overlooking Table Rock Lake. Ideal for a private romantic honeymoon retreat!
