> What does the Location Fee and Food and Beverage Minimum include?

The location fee includes the hold on the space, seating for the ceremony, and for the reception; all tables, chairs, stocked linen, silverware, flatware, glassware, banquet service ware, dance floor, setup and teardown for the event. With the food and beverage minimum, you have the option of selecting a pre-built Reception Package or you may select food & beverage items from our full Banquet Menu to add up to or exceed the Food & Beverage Minimum. The Location Fee and Food & Beverage Minimum are subject to 20% taxable service charge and 6.1% tax.

> Does Big Cedar have Other Onsite Wedding Vendors?

Big Cedar has an onsite catering and banquet team and team of wedding planners. All food & beverage must come through Big Cedar and the wedding & catering team. Our onsite Wedding Planners can assist in selecting everything else you need from officiants to musicians, DJs and bands, florists, rental décor and photographers. However, we understand that many wedding guests have established relationships elsewhere. Couples can book and arrange outside vendors on their own, or request our Big Cedar Wedding Planners to book and arrange outside vendors for you for additional 20% service charge. We have an extensive list of recommended vendors in every category you can possibly imagine.

> Can I Book Sleeping Rooms for the Bridal Party and Guests at Big Cedar Lodge?

Big Cedar requires a two to three night minimum stay on weekends. When booking sleeping rooms you have two options: guests can call 1-800-BCLODGE (800-225-6343) and ask our Reservations Department to book rooms individually for you and your guests. Or, our Group Sales Department at 417-339-5039 and Group Sales Managers would be happy to assist you with reserving a block of rooms for guests.

> Can I Purchase the Ceremony Only for a Small Group of People?

Whether you have hundreds of or two people, you can get married at Big Cedar Lodge.  For the couple who simply wants to get away or for groups of 20 people or less, our ceremony only event is a perfect component in our Elopement Package. The cost for this package Friday through Sunday is $1,500, and Monday through Thursday is $1,200. Click here for additional information on our Elopement Packages. You can also book any chapel for a ceremony only before 3:00pm. Any chapel booked after 3:00pm does require a reception to be booked also.

> Where  is Big Cedar located?

Located in the heart of the Midwest, just ten miles south of Branson, Missouri on Table Rock Lake and tucked into the wooded hillsides of the Ozark Mountains you’ll find our popular vacation paradise known as Big Cedar Lodge.

Many of our loyal guests drive to Big Cedar Lodge because we are less than a day’s drive for more than one-third of all Americans. However, more and more low-cost flight options arrive on a daily basis through the Branson Airport, Springfield-Branson National Airport and numerous airports offering private flight options.

Local Airports

Branson Airport – Currently the Branson Airport has several direct flight options. The Branson Airport is only 12 miles away from Big Cedar Lodge

Springfield/Branson Regional Airport – This airport is serviced by several major carriers and offers direct flights from Chicago, Dallas, Memphis, Orlando, Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, St. Petersburg, St. Louis, Kansas City and Los Angeles. To reach Big Cedar Lodge, travel 50 miles south on Interstate I-44 and US 65.

There are also several rental car agency options and taxi services available between the various airports and Big Cedar Lodge. Currently, Big Cedar does not provide transportation from the airport to Big Cedar. Complimentary shuttle service is provided on resort property.
