Dogwood Canyon Nature Park

Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is a 10,000 acre natural preserve featuring miles of winding trout streams, cascading waterfalls, and spectacular wildlife which makes this paradise a stunning back drop for your most special day.

Hope Wilderness Chapel
Tucked perfectly into nature and nestled on the edge of Little Indian Creek, sits the Hope Wilderness Chapel. The Hope Wilderness Chapel is a replica of traditional places of worship from the 1800’s. Handcrafted, the chapel features local materials including native short-leaf pine logs, rough-sawn oak flooring and an eastern red cedar ceiling. The chapel’s back wall, made entirely of glass, frames a picturesque view of one of many waterfalls at Dogwood Canyon. The Wilderness Chapel seats 100 guests and is available for weddings, vow renewals, meetings, and special services. Combining the scenic beauty of Dogwood Canyon with the romantic charm of Hope Wilderness Chapel gives our brides an ideal setting for her big day.

Step outside the chapel to take in the native surroundings and waterfall from the natural stone patio. Designed with intimate gatherings in mind, the deck includes space for up to 100 guests and its own glowing fire pit.

Outdoor Ceremonies

If you have envisioned saying “I do” in front of a picturesque waterfall amidst the serene Ozark Mountain landscape, discover the Glory Hole and Thunder Falls at Dogwood Canyon.

The Glory Hole, one of the most beautiful and perhaps favorite places in the canyon, is adorned with a magnificent waterfall and emerald pool. Your guests will be drawn to the clear pristine pool fed by the waterfall cascading down the overlook.

The beauty of Thunder Falls speaks for itself. It creates a picturesque scene that is perfect to capture the memories of your special day. These natural falls are approximately 60’ tall and been carved out of the limestone over thousands of years.

Before or after the ceremony, guests can take in views of great American buffalo and other wildlife, fisheries and experience the preserve via guided tours. For the bride and groom who long for a touch of Western charm, we can arrange the finest fireside chuckwagon reception replete with singing cowboys and outstanding cuisine.

The Pavilion & Chuckwagon Reception Sites
The Creekside Pavilion is a rustic open-air facility complete with a double stone fireplace and a 22-foot vaulted ceiling. Nestled next to Dogwood Creek, the Creekside Pavilion has an outdoor terrace and seating to accommodate both and small gathering or a large celebration. The natural country setting of the Chuckwagon site is highlighted by wooden picnic tables, tea lights and an outdoor fireplace.
